Pigeon Toe is a new perspective on the beauty inherent in every day. We explore the aesthetic potential of objects that populate and create our lives; we accentuate function and redefine form. Each piece that leaves our north Portland studio is alive with the joy and vision of its makers, the result of a process that begins with imagination and insight, takes shape through skilled hands, and is fulfilled by you. You will know a Pigeon Toe piece by its purpose, you will remember it for its presence, and you will love it for what it transcends.

Lisa Jones, Founder

With an aversion to the excess of mass-produced goods, Lisa Jones formed Pigeon Toe in the winter of 2008, fresh out of college, with a vision to create uniquely beautiful objects grounded in American crafts and manufacturing. Highlighted as the ideal gift for “everyone” by Sunset Magazineʼs editor-in-chief and recently noted in Dwell and the New York Times, Lisa's designs are as loved as they are widely respected.

Sam Sheeley, COO

In 2014 Pigeon Toe became sibling-owned in addition to female-owned, with Lisa's sister Samantha leaving a decade in corporate business development to join Pigeon Toe as co-owner.

In 2020, Lisa stepped away to pursue a vibrant career in interior architecture, with Sam stepping into the owner + COO role.

Alongside a talented team of designers, makers and doers, Pigeon Toe has hoisted their freak flag high, producing vibrant, minimalist, and approachable pottery rich in personality from their studio in Portland.

Handmade from Start to Finish

From design development to wiring, candle pouring to kiln repair, slip casting to shipping (we can keep going), a real human person was involved with your purchase every step of the way.

USA Manufactured

Our studio is located in the heart of Portland on the Willamette River, in the flourishing semi-industrial neighborhood of North Interstate.

Our seven thousand square foot building houses our production + design studio alongside a few other Portland makers we invited to share our building- because creating is better with community.
